Perth, Western Australia · a friend in-deed

الرفيق

A friend for every step
of your journey.

Al-Rafeeq means the companion. Wudu, prayer and Qur’an, taught gently, at your pace, by Perth teachers who remember their own first day.

Free, always. No account needed to start.

1

Watch it, slowly

Every step filmed from the top, with captions. Pause anywhere.

2

Loop it, word by word

Al-Fatihah at half speed, one line at a time, as many times as you need.

3

Play it, daily

The alphabet as a game. Five taps a lesson, five minutes a day.

4

Show a teacher

A real person confirms your wudu and prayer, and checks in if you go quiet.

Why we built this

A prayer mat cannot tell you when you have it wrong.

Today our instructions are laminated sheets taped up in the bathroom, steps printed on prayer mats, and books. A student reading off a mat has no way of knowing whether the words are coming out right.

So we recorded it. Slowly, from the top, with audio you can loop one word at a time until it sits right, and a teacher who confirms it before you move on.

The app is not the point. The room is.

This runs alongside the classes that already happen every week. Come and sit with people who were exactly where you are.
